As another creative outlet during the pandemic while my freelance design work was slow, I picked up another hobby that I dabble in to this day. I learned surface pattern design is a huge industry and learned so much about techniques, trends and styles that typically get printed on fabrics for personal sewing projects, but can also be printed on many other types of materials.
