what is a toodleboop?
Toodleboop is a silly, made-up name I created to describe how my daughters explore the world around them. Armed with curiosity and whimsy, they toodle about, booping the nearest noses as they see fit. It’s how I also view the creative process: clear project specifications provide the space for exploration, creative expression and intuitive visual solutions. The path may not be linear, but the twists and turns can generate brilliant ideas for unique, engaging human connection.
Meet Dani
I’ve had a passion for art and design from a very young age and was lucky to have the opportunity to channel that passion into a career. I’m an alumni of Truman State University in Missouri, where I earned a BFA in Visual Communications and played on the DII soccer team. After graduating college, I moved to San Diego and enjoyed honing my design skills with an award winning marketing and design agency, growing a taste for craft beer and coffee, and frequenting the picturesque beaches of Southern California. I have also worked as the sole in-house designer for the marketing department at a tea and botanical company based in Milwaukee, where I strengthened my love of tea and grew my marketing design skills. I’m based in the western Chicago suburbs where I live with my husband and two daughters.
